What is IPSEC or PPTP

What is IPSEC or PPTP and does the router support it. IPSEC is short for IP Security which is a set of protocols which support secure exchange of packets at the IP layer. PPTP is a point to point tunneling protocol for creating virtual private networks.

And yes your router will support both of these.

I am not understanding that you want to tell something or you are asking something. Because first you have asked and then you have only answered. You may also look at wikipedia for further information.

It is a basically a comment for people that I have had me questions. I wanted to ask the question and answer the question for anyone who comes across this and wanted to ask and get an answer.

Wikipedia is good for information but most of the time its too advanced and does not give you the specific answer you want as there is so much information.When searching for answeres on google use resources one or two down from wikipedia.
