voyager 210 BT
Hi there,

I've been trying to set up a voyager 210 modem at my parents house, but cannot get a dsl signal / light. just nothing not flashing or permanent.

I have tried the usual, removing any phone lines, going straight into the wall socket etc, but it has made no difference. Still no lights.

I called BT, and asked why it wouldn't fire up, and after a line test he stated that "the option 1 package my parents have is not suitable for this line, that i need to upgrade to DSL Max to get any connectivity"

Am i being done here? already paying for something that does not work and now they are telling me i have to upgrade and pay more.

BTW the 2 laptops I have connected show a local area connection when attached to the modem, but will not connect to any web page, send or receive.

Any ideas please???

If you have a local connection you should be able to see webpages. I think you should contact your ISP as i believe its a problem their end.

However, if not cause you have been messed around i recommend switching IPs to something reliable. (http://www.broadbandsuppliers.co.uk/...nd-offers.html)
