Norton.
Is the kernel of norton too big and makes your computer too slow. I want to buy some powerful anti-virus and I want to know which one should I buy?

According to the rate of 6starreviews.com The shield delux, CA, Norton Kaspersky, Nod 32, Panda, McAfee, and trendMicro are the Top Rated Anti-Virus Softwars.

I use Norton Anti-Virus on all my computers and have found it an excellent Anti-Virus, However on 2 occasions Norton has slowed my 2.8 hyper threading machine down running windows XP home and I had an issue with Norton 2005 not wanting to run on an old athlon I was repairing that was running windows 2000 pro but this was solved by installing Norton 2000 Anti Virus.

However I run Norton on the rest of my machines and I find no issues with slowness, Its runs lovely on my 3.8 Althlon, 1.6 Intel laptop, 1.5 Intel and my 3 Ghz Intel.

Zone Alarm Anti-Virus is a lot quicker but I have not tested this long enough to comment fairly apart from Zone Alarm firewall which I could bet money on as its excellent

The solution don't buy any.Search AVG on google its a free anti-virus but its fantastic and does a quality job its only a small peice of software too so it does not slow down your computer. You may have to pay for AVG anti-spyware but thats it its a brilliant anti-virus.

I agree with niki tat norton takes most of our pc speed and it reduces the internet speed also..i was using norton for a month and turned in to nod 32 which is the most lightest antivirus and it is powerful too.my pc is faster than before now...i recomend nod 32..
