Trojan virus

Recently, I found Trojan virus in my PC and was able to delete it with my Avast.

Can anyone tell how this damn virus entered into my PC? Your information will help me to be alert in future,

This must have entered either by your permission only or you must have not updated your anti-virus and after update your anti-virus deleted it.

did u use ur pendrive on ur pc after using it in a public Pc???
because pendrives have autorun option which paves way for trojen to enter pc....
