Not able to shutdown.

From the day I have installed norton security I am not able to shut down the windows whenever I click on shut down it goes to logging off and then keeps the PC working on "Saving the settings". What could be the problem?

There are some serious problems with your windows and there are some files missing or corrupt in your windows so try repairing your windows else you'll have to reinstall the windows.

there might be some trojen attack in your system32 files ... norton would ve probably found it and intimated you.....
u must ve selected delete option or norton itself would ve deleted system files inorder to remove the virus.

formatting is the best way to solve ur problem....
