Hacking alarm.
Is there any application which can give any sort of alarm when there is some vicious activity as I can't monitor 24-7.

On a PC, none that I can think of but something like Snort or Tripwire may be able to be used although they are more designed for firewalls.

Kaspersky also gives an alarm whenever there is some vicious activity in your computer and also if there is some virus.
