Panda vs kaspersky.
Which is better anti-virus as I already have norton but it has slowed down my computer to a certain extent. So I would like to know which one should I use? Please help.

Never looked into the effectiveness of Panda but Kapersky was getting rave reviews a few month back. A lot of people were switching to it, and it was was getting the most true detections than any other at the time.

Kaspersky initially gives a lot of trouble as it will ask for each exe and each program which you want to run and you never know the critical prograns or about the child programs.

To be honest, I like this kind of feature. I know sometimes the program asking for permission can look non descriptive, but if it pops up as soon as you start a new program, it's a good sign. If it pops up by it'self when you haven't, I am more suspicious.

Some of my programs I dont want to grant access at all, so find the ability of blocking it myself ion an easy to do manner is also a bonus for me.

Smash is right, new programs can also be new viruses. I think Karersky is good , although AVG and ZoneAlarm firewall together, i think it the cream of the cake

Kaspersky is very good in my experience. I really dislike Norton as it's always slowed my computer down by loads, and given me lots of other problems too. But with Kaspersky I haven't had any problems, it detects stuff great and doesn't slow my computer down at all.

Kapersky is good, Norton isnt . Nice and Simple :P
I dont like Norton either. Back when i was actually on Windows (horrible memories) , it kept crashing my pc, and i was forced to reformat.

Use nod32 as it is having a very small kernel but a powerful one and it will block all viruses entering your system but you must allow it to upgrade itself.
