"Always on" vs "dial on demand"
I have a PC which is used by many people. So I wan to ask whether I should go for a always on setting or a dial on demand setting. Which one is more secure?

Always on dial-up?!?! That would be the least secure as the advantage on a non-static IP would be lost.

To be honest though, avoid Dial Up if you can, despite being too slow IMO for today's internet, rogue dialers could soon end up costing you more than the broadband anyway.

If you don't want others to use your internet connection then you can use the dial mode as they'll have to enter the password if you disconnect from the network.

Always on is good only when you need a static IP and dial ups are also not a problem as connection takes only a second.

I prefer always on as whenever I switch on my computer internet is connected and I don't have to manually connect and IP is not a problem to me as I am not into any malicious activities.
