| | | I would have to say that I think you are using the some of the best ones out there at least as far as I am concerned. I know there are many more out there that I have not tried. But I believe that if you are happy with what you are using and not experience any problems why change. | |

| | | I use AVG Internet Security, which is the full paid suite. It includes anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-spyware and a firewall. The free version, which only includes anti-virus and anti-spam is still excellent though. | |

| | | AVG And Ad-aware are pretty much the best free solutions out there.
We determined that Trend Micro PC-Cillin was the best commercial Anti-virus suit for customers back when I was lowly technician, but that was some years ago now.
It was a toss-up between Ad-aware and Spybot S&D, with Ad-aware the winner thanks to a cleaner interface and less of a penchant for reporting phantom malware.
AVG has come a long way, probably trading on Norton Antivirus' steady decline to sluggish, overrated, overpriced bloatware. | |

| Yup, that's why I switched. The full suite is cheaper than Norton, and all their products are less bloated. | |

| AVG offer free versions of their software. I understand that their free versions have a delayed pattern update cycle. Of course, in reality, unless you're a large network (or have a lot of spam-forwarding friends), this is unlikely to be a major benefit (at least, no bigger a benefit that reconsidering those friendships). | |
