Help me to find this software

I used to download short video clips which I want to connect them together so that I can watch them as one lengthy video.

Do you know any software that can merge the videos files and make it one large file? I think the video format is avi.

Any help?

Why not use windows movie maker for this? May be there are software available like Windows movie maker. If you want to know any free download site, this is it.
