Quantum computers
Recently, one of my friends was talking about 'quantum computers'.
He said it is based on quantum. What all I know about quantum is that it refers to small particles atoms.

Are quantum computers faster than the PCs we use?

Sorry let me expand on that it uses quantium mechanical data. This includes of superposition and entanglement, to perform operations on data. The basic principle of this device is that the quantum properties can be used to represent and structure data.
