Turning LCD monitor into a TV
Is it possible to convert a LCD monitor into a television?
A couple of months ago, I bought a Samsung 17" wide screen LCD monitor. Thnking to connect it to set-top box, so it can be used as HDTV.

I posted this thread as I thought someone who knows about this stuff will be here and can guide me.

For watching TV without using a PC, you need to have a set-top box that has a DVI output.

If your LCD monitor has compatibility problems with the TV signals. I would suggest you to keep the PC between the LCD monitor and a high-definition TV card.
