Can I use Registry Cleaner software?

Anyone had the experience of using 'registry cleaner' software on your PC. Often the free downloads of such softwares are mostly trial versions and come with reduced features. Once I used a registry cleaner which reported that my PC had lots of errors and prompted me for an action.

Is it advisable to use such software? I am afraid they might install some spyware in my PC.

I used a free registry cleaner however, you do have to pay for them as they are only free versions.It was called regcure its one of the best registry cleaners around, they offer a free trial then you have to pay.

Better not to install such stuff in your PC, as these 'free' software can potentially damage your system. If you want to use one, purchase the genuine program. Moreover, I doubt, whether these free registry software can really clean your system.

Remember, most free programs carry some kind of advertisement and target the downloaders.

Mike, i have had many trial softwares which are very decent when i have registered them they are excellent.Regcure you cannot go wrong its excellent.It cleans up all your registry and loads of errors its an excellent peice of software.My computer was like a new computer again it was running fast and it was very efficient.However, if downloading other kinds of registry cleaners besides regcure be carefull.
