Been a lover of 2000 Pro and XP Pro I,ve been holding back on purchasing a machine with Vista as with all operating systems there are normally a few bugs that need to be patched so I like to leave it for a bit plus I don`t like change very much and all my systems here are XP pro now.
I would love to have your views and opinions on Vista and also how compatable Vista is with networking XP.
Can you dual boot Vista and XP?
What version of Vista would you recommend?
Is Vista as stable as XP pro?
Will Vista run any XP software like games etc or any older software?
Is Vista easy to network?
How was the change from XP to Vista?
Are there any 64 bit programs for Vista?
Is Vista very slow loading up?
Can you use XP drivers on Vista for wireless cards or is the software avaliable?
How much room does Vista take up on your hdd once unpacked?
Are you happy with Vista or would you have rather stayed with XP?
Does Vista use the same CMD commands as XP?
Is Vista compatiable and stable with XP Firewalls and Anti-Virus software?
I can answer all of ur question in a single sentence.."I recomend windows XP pro Sp2 is the best OS ever"...i'd tried vista but my pc lost more than half of its speed..it took 10 to 15 seconds even to open a single folder.and it slows up ur internet speed also...now my pc is with Windows XP pro sp2 woks faster than before
