Gambling

Ok, well I know gambling is a big problem, all my friends gamble, even my younger sister, who's 14 gambles.

Now the question: Is it right, to let young people who've just started highschool, gamble.? In her class, the teacher lets them gamble with real money, she even owns her own gambling site!

Does anyone here think this is wrong?

I think that gambling is wrong , and a teacher should not be showing them how to do it , also I am sure that the teacher is trying to get people to join her site

I don't think gambling should be allowed in schools. Outside of school, it's up to each individual parent to decide if they want to allow their child to gamble. There are different gambling laws all over the world, but if gambling is illegal where you are until a certain age, schools should uphold that, surely?

This is totally out of order as stated by another cool member above a teacher should not be showing children how to gamble.Its unfair scamming people out of money and getting them into debt.

Gambling verification checks are in place now so if you are under 18 you have to provide ID.However, they are numorous ways to get round this so its hard to prevent it.
