Sony to add GPS feature to PSP
Sony to add GPS feature to PSP - Technology - smh.com.au

Quote:
Sony plans to sell a satellite navigation accessory from February that turns its handheld PSP games console into a navigation device, the company announced at the Leipzig Games Convention on Wednesday.

The PSP equipped with the global positioning (GPS) accessory will compete with dedicated navigation devices such as those made by TomTom and Garmin.
Somehow, I don't think this is going to be a huge success. The PSP just won't make as good a GPS unit as a separate device and the addon costs nearly as much as buying a separate device as well.

Agreed hazel i don't think they will succeed they is too many products on the market to compete with which i believe will be far more cheaper and effective than this. Its also too large for this kind of device and fairly hard and heavy just to carry around everywhere.
