Be carefull of "Wi-Fi Theft "
A man was spotted in Redditch, Worcestershire by neighbours out side a house connecting to the net and a case was put on him .
Another lady did the same thing in Redditch , they were both cautioned for dishonestly obtaining electronic communications services with intent to avoid payment .

But to my knowledge it is not illegal to use hotspots or open access points. So why would that be considered dishonesty in obtaining electronic communications services with intent to avoid payment.

The only way this kind of activity would be legal if the WI FI payer charged them a fee for using their service or they got permission from him/her.Very intrested though i thought someone would do this sometime.
