Do you really care the BBC iPlayer isnt available under Linux?
The BBC iPlayer allows you to watch the last 7 days worth of BBC TV over the net, this has gotten the Penguin huggers up in arms as its planned currently to be Windows only to start with Mac's being supported soon.

Now the main sticking point for the iPlayer is that Linux doesnt have the DRM (Digital rights management) to allow the BBC to keep their programs safe from piracy.

Personally I think the BBC should be allowed to keep their property safe, what do you think?

They should be allowed to, but why not jsut use a simple media file that anyone can watch, and then use posh coding to protect it, instead of making some "bbc music player"

Oh no, not DRM.

Planning on having a look at this, hope to see some some shows I missed from a few months back. The BBC do seem to be geting into the whole internet thing better than the others, i guess they realise that TV as we know it will be gone in 20 years.

Latest update:
Now BBC's iPlayer is available to Linux and Mac users via Flashplayer. Full version for them is to be launched later this year. Another drawback is you cannot iPlayer if you are outside the UK. The media giant says it will make its VoD service available for non-UK customers in near future. That's a good news for you if you are a BBC fan.
