WiFi When Travelling
I travel a lot, and I like to use WiFi in restaurants and coffee shops whenever possible. At the moment I seek out Wetherspoons because of their WiFi offers, but I'd like to have something available at somewhere more universal - like a Starbucks.

Can anyone recommend a cheap, reliable WiFi service? I did use T-Mobile, but their billing is a nightmare, so I don't want to use them again.

Wifi isn't great for mobile internet. If you want reliable connections why traveling than a 3g/GPRS card would be a better bet.

It's not that simple. There are security risks, but it's inaccurate to just say "you can get a virus".

It depends. Simply connecting through a wireless access point should not give you a virus. It would have to be specially set up by someone for the purpose. However, it is definitely insecure to connect this way as your data could be interecepted.

Again connecting through an access point will open up the same issues as any other internet connection , if you don't have a personal firewall you are asking for trouble.

There are many Wifi hotspots in the UK especially in metros. In my opinon, The cloud provides excellent Wifi serivice. You can buy wifi vouchers if you are an Orange customer.

Ya i agree with Haze, the virus is made for some purposes. With the strong anti-virus,we can able to protect from virus.Wi-Fi is really a strong concept, where you can access the internet on the move.Internet can be accessed by means of the wi-fi hot spots.

As haze, there will be some interception on the data packages. But anyhow,it is a real useful concept to get the internet on the move at a cheaper rate
