Demon Review please
Read recently that Demon Internet are growing fast and their company has announced profits this year. I really have no experience with them, so would appreciate if someone helps by sharing their experience about Demon.

At £19.99 and £24.99, their ADSL packages are not the cheapest in the market though, but I am willing to pay if their service is much better than others.

I do not think they are worth the money. My friend had Demon and he switched over because the connection kept dropping.

Not a very friendly name is it? - Demon!

I use demon on the £24.99, they are very good. Very reliable, only ever once had downtime. Fast, I could get up to 8mbps if I was close enough but distance from the exchange means I only get 1.5mbps.

I get 60gb bandwidth, and they only slow excess users down in peak periods rather than crucifying you constantly. I would certainly never switch, and am happy to recommend anyone to sign up with them.

I have friends who live in DSL areas who use Demon, and they are very happy with them - they do seem to have issues with speeds, but they have a reliable connection, and they seem quite happy with both the billing and the tech support.

If I had a BT phone line I'd probably consider using them based on the things I've heard.

demon= never ending problems
I have 8Mb broadband from Demon since September. All the time connection speed is low. Recommended by Demon support speed test (speedtester.bt.com), showing how bad service they provide. In 65% of tests actual IP throughput achieved was below 800kbps!!! (2 weeks of testing, 4 times a day). But the best part of story is: they want me to pay almost 400 pound for 4 ADSL modens. I have only 1(in contract -for free), and I've never ordered any more!!!

Demon is one of the ISPs that have considerably improved the customer satisfaction level according to a consumer report.
An impartial review on Demon can be found here.

Demon provides online text chat support so you can put queries more conveniently.

Well i sure would not join an Internet Server Providor named Demon what kind of name is that? You never hear anything about it in the press or any adverts for it, it must not be doing very well.After looking at reviews on this service its not good there is masses of complaints linked with this internet server providor.

Of course they don't. They really don't care about getting our custom because it's not what they're primary market is, they are a business ISP and that is where they make money.
