Best Business Packages?
I work from home, and I'm finding the caps and limitations on most of the residential packages quite annoying.

I'm on cable at the moment. The Vigin business package is crazily expensive

Does anyone know of any reasonably piced business packages that really do have no caps, and that have a good contention ratio? High (well, as good as cable can do) upload speed is very important.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Define wildly expensive? If you have a BT line and can get normal broadband I would recommend the ISP I use ADSL24.co.uk they do have caps but they are pretty reasonable ones, although it does depend how much data you want to shift during peak time. The 800k upload speed is pretty good too (I use the home service so I get 400k).

There are no blocked ports or any throttling or traffic shaping too which was the deal breaker for me.

How much are you willing to pay. Demon offer their Business 8000 plan for £40.00 a month with unlimited traffic and 8mbps downstream/up to 832kbps upstream. They also offer a cheaper £34.00 a month plan, but it only has 2mbps downstream.

Hazel the only problem with that is Demon is not a highly respected Internet Service Providor in our society. They are many complaints linked with its service and horrific complaints from many angry customers.Tiscali business broadband is good for just £15.99 a month!

It is surprising. Demon was chosen one among the five top ISPs for customer satisfaction by Epitro. On the other hand, Tiscali is pushing its business broadband packages after its acquisition of Pipex.

UK Online, Eclipse and PlusNet and BT offer some excellent business broadband packages to meet the requirements of all kinds of customers.
