BT doubles the usage allowance of its broadband packages

BT broadband is to double the usage allowance of the BT Total broadband customers from 1st July. Option 1 customers will see their download limit increased to 10 GB from 5 GB. Likewise Option 2 package will get additional usage allowance of seven GB (from 8GB to 15 GB). However, the price remains unchanged. BT Total Option 3 package will offer unlimited download limit (so no change).

It should be noted that Plusnet, BT's subsidiary ISP has already increased the usage allowance of its packages last month.
