Uploading to Internet (Trouble)
Okay so for the past 2 days i can no longer upload pictures to sites such as Imagvenue, Photobucket, Filecabin etc. I can't attach them to posts either. So BT must be blocking this somehow?

I'm on a Desktop, but i've also tried a wireless laptop and that suffers from the same problem, so i am assuming it's either BT or the Home Hub.

I can download from the internet. I can download and upload torents too. It seems that everything is working except uploading to the internet.

If i try to upload a pic within a few seconds it goes 5kb, 2kb, 0......and it doesn't continue. I've rebooted both system, the hub. I've tried different browsers and without firewalls on too.

Anyone any idea what the problem is or know of similar issues?

Thanks guys.

up loading to the internet
I am having exactly the same problem,
I have been using the thinkbroadband :: The UK's largest independent Broadband / ADSL comparison & review website to test the speed of up load, and it either starts of OK but when it gets to up uploading 40% of a .25 meg test file it stops for a period of a few seconds and then it starts transmitting in small batches giving a final test speeds as low as 5kbps, some times it stops and gives an arror message.
2 to 3 weeks ago I was able to tranmitt up load at 370kbps.
I have changed the hub, used another computer still the same.
At the moment BT wholesale has restarted my connection to see if this will bring the speed up, my down load speeds are getting back to normal , but up loading is still staying slow, and when I carry out a test the same happens as before.
If you get a solution please inform me, and I will do likewise.
One last thought, where are you located, I wonder if we are using the same exhange / equipment and we have a linked fault.
REGARDS

Im in the North West mate, In Blackrod, Bolton. I think my local exchange is Aspull in Wigan.

I've emailed BT and they said to clean my cookies and cache I informed them it wasn't isolated to 1 pc or 1 browser, hopefully they'll not give me another basic wrong answer.

I reset my Hub to factory Default earlier and that did nothing

If i find anything i'll let you know.

I've sorted mine. For some reason AVG is now blocking my Image uploads... So i need to get a new firewall/virus software.

Awesome, not!!

Even when i had it off it was still blocking them. I'm not sure why, but there is my answer.

Good Luck.

AVG stop out going traffic
If your AVG stopped you uploading when it was switched off, how did you sus that it was stoppng uploading. I have Nortons as supplied by BT in the internet package,I have switched it off and I still get the same.
Did you actually remove it from your computer then tried up loading?
