Broadband speed is a hot topic for debate among consumers. How many of us really get advertised speeds? Why ISPs are in favour of traffic shaping which can be vexing experience for many?

BT's 21 CN programme promises high speeds but the issue of cost remains a big question.

BT and Orange are offering some great deals that include 8 Mbits speed and unlimited download facility at fairly affordable prices.
