Any tips to better broadband speeds?

Is there anyway to simply tweak my broadband speed? If I am a windows user, what are the settings that can help me to get better speeds? Similarly, any tips for Firefox users?

The best way of increasing your download speed is actually by contacting your Internet Service Providor as they are the ones who supply you your internet and the speed it is running at.They will be able to assist further.

If you are using Internet Explorer you try it:
From the Tool menu, click Internet Options and then choose the General tab. Click on Delete under browsing history. Delete temporary internet files. Finally click on OK to exit.

If you a firefox user, in the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data, and then click on Cache to choose.

Mike pal eventhough that is a good option you stated you can actually get good results from your internet providor.They can state ways on how to improve speed.If you complain strongly they may try and boost your connectivity signal and get you a faster internet connection to the speed your paying for.
