Dial up connection
Previously I have got a Dial up connection but facing a problem of low speed and connectivity. Now i have changed to broadband but they are not giving the desired speed. What can I do?

You can just complain to the ISP and be patient because broadband in UK is really below standards an try changing to BT as they are better than most of them.

What did the customer care line say? I know that sometimes customer care is a pig in a poke, but they really are the best first port of call.

Speed of Dial up connection
Dial up connection is slow and costlier compared to broadband, because, as the name suggests, it first dials up and then connect, unlike broadband, which connects faster

You mean you aren't getting the speed for which you signed up ? Often the speed isn't exactly the same speed as mentioned in the package , but if you test it during different hours ,you might get a better result .However, if the speed via the connection is no better than the dialup you were on then you need to talk with them.

Yes i mean if on a router it depends how far away from the exchange you are.You can complain to your Internet Service Providor via email and state this is not acceptable and really give a strong complaint and what you want doing.
