The fastest broadband connection in the world

Check this one out.A 75 year old lady from Sweden has the fastest connection in the world.Her internet connection speed is 40 gigabytes per sec If my connection was even 0.1% of her connection speed I'd never complain about my internet.Fastest Connection

Oh great and even my connection is much slower than this. But I always want a connection with dynamic ips and most fastest are with cable connections.

Do you have any clue at all how much money this would cost to have those speeds for everyone. I highly doubt that we will see anything like that within the next 10 years or so, although we know that it is a probability. There should be no reason why people should not be getting faster speeds then they are currently getting.

Well the granny in question has around £0.5million's worth of IT equipment in her basement to allow this to happen and dark fibre running to the door.

This wont happen for the average person for at least 5-10 years.

I don't need that fast 40gb/s is too fast a connection I just need a 8 mbps line and it must not be UPTO as I really hate this word.

This news is new for me but i personally think that the speed is too much high and a normal speed of 8mbs is enough for a connection to easily work on net.
