The gap between the speed claimed and speed given is big
Separate reports issued for which? and BroadbandChoice are taking about the same gap that is there . Some customers on 8Mb packages actually getting as little as 0.09Mb.
A test was carried out which 100,000 customer speed tests were done and only 39% got the promised speeds .
Pls find out what are speed . You should get what you paid for .

Its really bad on there part. But I found one trick in there marketing strategies that they assure less speed and promise more speed.

That is really a poor speed that I would not agree to pay for. The amount that you are agreeing to is at least 8MB and if you are getting nothing close to that speed then I would not pay for it.

This is a real gap and for this atleast I will sue my isp. I have a 2 mbps line and still manage to get 1 mbps even in bust hours.

You should expect at least half of the advertised mb broadband speed. If you get 8mb broadband do not expect any less than 4mb.

'8Mb packages actually getting as little as 0.09Mb' this should not be tolerated if you get speeds like this.I think you need to contact the trading standards.
