Oh yeah I have seen this test before and sometimes I think it is less than accurate, but pretty close because it is based on which location you choose and if more than one location is close it is only based on from one location to the other and not the actual speed.

I've never been impressed with it's results, it always shows less, both down and up than I get in 'real life'.

I click the London icon, so that's a good 250 miles from where I am, so probably has something to do with it.

And yes there is software called dumeter whhich is quite impressive and gives the current speed graph and also maintains your usage and time of use.

Yes DUMETER rocks its really a great application and has helped me to keep my internet usage under check.

To make the forum attractive one has to change the graphics updated after a short time which helps in making the forum attractive with the users.

Yes nice scotty i believe this is the best speed tester on the internet its fantastic and i really like it.Ive used it a few times when ive had slow speed took a print screen of this and emailed my ISP.They soon resolved the problem.
