Which Provider
I am with BT at present and it can be pretty slow, can anyone suggest any other provider for the south east of England I might consider using?

Problem is that BT provide the majority of the backbone via there wholesale department it might be worth finding out if it's a problem with trying to get 8mb out a line that might run faster at 4mb

I'm surprised you find BT slow, what deal are you on?

They are expensive should you be on 2mb or something, so for the same money you may well get a higher spec connection for the same, even less.

BT is giving the best services and even I have been using it for over a year now and I am satisfied so I would not recommend you to change it.

BT Total Option 1 is indeed one of the cheapest packages that is worth considering. In fact, I signed up for its 18 month contract and after eight months, I had nothing to regret. Its 8 Mb download speed and 5 GB is more than enough for light users like me.

If you don't get the nearest speed that they advertise, it is better to check how far the BT exchange from your home.

BT used to be crap and very expensive and there was a charge for technical support hense why I shifted to Tiscali after 5 years with BT but now after 2 years with Tiscali it looks like BT have spent some money at last and Improved their service! Looks like I`m going back to BT once again
