Any Home Move guide available online?
I will be moving house shortly to a place which is a few kms away where I need to get service from a different telephone exchange for the landline phone and broadband.

Is there any home move guide available online that can help me to transfer my landline and ADSL service to my new residence? Is it also possible to get the old phone number when I move to the new line?

Also, I would like to know if I need to incur any kind of home moving fee or like that? Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

If you move broadband to the service from the same ISP in your new residence, the process is quite simple. Your ISP will relocate without much complication or any fee. Just ask your current ISP.

You may also read the following home move guide on the website of Plusnet:

...i am fed up.....
Sorry folks......looked thru all 6 pages......nothing along these lines anywhere.....pleas bear with me...if this situation has been posted elsewhere...pls let me know.....

problem is......i have moved into my partners home, she has gone after cancelling her internet access.....she did get a mac number from TISCALI...but cancelled her access yesterday.........i have got BT to give me a new number.......i was thinking that since i will have a new number.....i should be able to sign up with anyone.....and get access......NOT SO!...........upon trying to sign up with AOL, they say there is a tag on the line.....and i should contact BT to remove it......upon contacting BT....they say AOL should contact BT wholesale and request its removal.....BT customer services say they used to do this, but not anymore......and I as a customer of Bt....am unable to contact BT wholesale in order to request its removal.....only AOL can do so!.....i am at the end of my tether......with BT...it takes a long time for them to answer.......
