How to share cable broadband connection?

Recently signed up for Virgin M size package and now my sister wants to share the connection with her laptop using a wireless router. I am currently using cable modem supplied by Virgin Media.

Can anyone suggest a good wireless router? Should I also buy any other hardware to make this wireless connection?

I would get a belkin router i know they are alot of money but they are fantastic.They increase the speed of your internet by alot.There easy to install and ive never had any problems with them.
