Laptop is not working with change of ISP
Ok , I use Netgear DDG834G router to connect wireless and a desk top connection by cable and I would like to connect a lap top wireless also . So what I have it 2 cp( desk top , laptop ) connected and I would like to connect one more laptop but the problem is the laptop is not taking the IP address . It take 168 and not 192 , any advice ?

I know that this is really basic, so apologies if you have already looked into this, but do you know if your network card on the laptop is in full working order?

That is exactly the same question I was going to ask. Because there should be no reason why it would not take that. Let me do some research for you and I will check back in a day or two for your answer and will hopefully be able to give you more help.

This is very unusual ive never known an IP not being accepted.As stated above by the two clever members have you checked your network card?Also try resetting or reconfiguring the device one you have done this and try again.
