From the day I have installed vista in my pc I am getting this problem of local access only and as I switch to xp everything is fine. What could be the problem?
The problem is of the software only. i think some of the files supporting it are deleted by default and when you change the software the problem is solved.
Problem is of DHCP. The best way to check this is go to run then type cmd and then type ipconfig and connect and reconnect few times and see if you are getting same ip everytime if yes then your router's DHCP is not installed properly.
