Home Networking
Can anyone tell me how to setup a home network. I would like to have a central computer for all the computers in my home to be able to access for certain things. Can anyone tell me how to do this.

That is a very general question. Do you have any specific questions or (as I suspect) you just want general pointers? Here are a couple of "how to" links:

Home Networking Guide - Set up a Home Network
Howstuffworks "How Home Networking Works"

This one's from the UK:

Home Networking

And of course Microsoft:

Windows XP: Networking your home or small business

I am telling you for XP

control panel-->network connections-->set up home or small office setup
and then you can choose for server machines the 1st option and 2nd option for client machines.

Thank you so much for the responses. I have just implemented them on one of my systems and it appears to be working very well. I appreciate your help and enjoy this forums because of the good information everyone has.

All you need to do is go in help of the OS you are using and if offlibe help doesn't help in any case then try online help.
