Loading XP over a vista machine.
I have vista preloaded in my laptop and i want to load xp over it without disturbing vista. Is there any way to do this.

To my knowledge no, as you will get a message telling you that the version you are installing is older than the one currently on the system.

Why would you want to do that. If you do not want Vista then you should get rid of that first and then install. If you want to have the option of dual boot you will need to look up how to create a dual boot on your system.

I can look for my information on how to do it, since I do not know off the top of my head and then come in and post it here.

No there is no way to do this as XP doesn't know anything about vista and when you'll install it XP will remove the vista loader.
