Quick Question about file passwords
There is a need on my system to password protect certain files and folders. Can someone here please tell me how I would go about protecting my files and folders in windows, with a password?

There are many softwares available like folder lock and also you can use windows 2000 or windows server if you need security without any softwares.

Is Folder Lock the name of the software program? I would like to some names of software available in order to check them out. Thanks for any help.

Yes Folder-Lock is an application and I have downloaded it from Free Software Downloads and Software Reviews - Download.com
