Is everything working fine except that the LED isn't blinking?

Does the LED emit light at all or does it appear dead?

Well then it is the LED and not the rest of the router or 'network'.

I wouldn't worry about it, your only option is to replace the LED, which is more trouble than it's worth.

Very well put, I never really worry about little lights on the Router (in the past) unless other things are not working. When in doubt always check your items first then go to the network if necessary. Rule out what you can first.

This is impossible, the LED is activated by voltage on the line, and that voltage is data transfer.

If data is being sent fine, then it's the LED/electrical supply to the LED which could be the only problem.
