Pls enplain to me how ping time and interleaving works
If I am not very close to my ISP will I see a noticable decrease in my ping time ?
What will happen is I turn my interleaving off ? what type of a effect will that have ?

You can't reduce your ping time as its the time to get a packet from your server. And more the distance more is the ping time and more are the delays. And interleaving is sharing a same connection by different users in time sliced manner.
