How to restore my wireless router to factory settings?

There should be a button at the back of the router just click re-set to set it back to factory defaults.

after restart i have to set all properties from first step?

Once you reset your router it will automatically go to the default settings

I use a netgear wireless router. It was working well for six months, however, it stopped working for the last one week. I think I meddled with its settings and I could not restore it to factory settings.

What should I do now? Should I call someone from BT?

If you are unable to restore the factory settings, then you should buy a new router and try.........
