2 Cable broadband packages in same house?
Im living with 3 others at Uni, sharing a Virgin Media 10Mb connection. Its very slow during peak times and when theres a couple of us using the net it barely loads google.

I was just wondering since this broadband doesnt require a landline, could i order another 10Mb connection for myself?

Thanks in advance

If bandwidth is your problem and you want an additional broadband service, you can go for O2 or Be broadband which offer excellent speeds. Why you go for Virgin Media cable broadband again?

Here is a page that provides information on the latest broadband offers in the UK

The easiest solution: Upgrade to Virgin XL broadband which offers up to 20Mbps download speed. Taking another Virgin cable, is it not expensive option?

We dont have a phoneline in this house. From what i hear Virgin is the only broadband by cable that doesnt need a landline. Would upgrading to 20Mb help that much?

So would it be possible to get another cable service in the same house? It would just give me more freedom, with my own bandwidth.

Thanks for replies.

If you visit the Broadbandsuppliers Site it gives you detailed information on all the Virgin Media packages (http://www.broadbandsuppliers.co.uk/...and-offer.html)

Then choose a package which you feel would work for you, it seems to be like you need quite a large package.
