AOL offers Playstation3
AOL is going to offer a free Sony Playstaion3 for those who sign up to their Wireless Plus package. PS3 comes with Blu-ray technology and you can store high quality photos and play games that will take you to a new kind of experience.

Free laptop with Wireless Plus will continue, however. New customers can choose either a free Dell notebook or a Sony PS3.

You did not mention a thing:

When you sign up to AOL wireless plus package and get a SONY PS3 , you have to pay £14 as delivery charges. So, it is nothing but a hidden cost.

AOL has definitely given a choice to its new customers who can either choose a laptop or Playstation 3.
I would personally choose the PS3 as I already have a Dell laptop. Morever, PS3 is becoming a popular gadget, so I find this offer certainly attractive.

Better read this news feature to learn more about this offer.

It happens so when you get a freebie from the ISPs. I don't think it is really a hidden cost which usually refers to line rental etc. when you sign up to a package.

I personally think, AOL Wireless Plus is one of the best packages, not just for this free stuff, but for its service quality and reliable connection.

The main thing is you have to sign up to the long contract to get a free PS3 or a laptop. Recently, AOL has also announced Wireless packages without minimum contract. This is good for people who are fed up with long contracts. Free stuff like laptops are a kind of sugaring the bill. May be it can work for sometime, what is important is the what kind of service the ISP offers.
