If they offered you big money and discounts
If they offered you big money and discounts to join would you. I know they are not offering money, but in a sense they are with laptops. What would it take if anything to get you to join their service.

I do not think they would be able to offer me what they would have to switch to their service.

I wouldnt - if they start making stupid promises, you can tell that the PR and Sales divisions are being pressured to come up with the sales, which is not going to make your stay with them any the more pleasurable.

Nothing, and I repeat nothing short of several million pounds in cash would make me switch to AOL. As I said in the other thread, the free laptops are by no means worth it.

Well since most of those users are now advanced computer users since they were with the service in the 90's what would you expect. I would think that they have to make the offers to entice people back.
