Ofcom asks ISP's to advertise real speeds
The Chairman of Ofcom consumer panel has asked top 6 broadband service providers to clearly advertise speeds instead of "upto" 2 meg or 8 meg. Wonder who are in the top 6? Guess this move will allow people to make clearer choices while choosing a package.

Heya,

Oh Tiscali state in there package advertisements "upto" 2 meg or 8 meg".If this changes they i will know they are possibly in the top 6 very intresting. It is only fair if advertisers state a fixed mb rate in the advertisements rather than saying up to.
