BT acquires Brightview Group Limited
Happy news for Brightview’s customers who are going to benefit from BT broadband’s services, resources and technology development as well as the excellent customer service of BT broadband.

Recently, BT, the major broadband provider in UK confirmed its intention to buy Brightview Group Limited, the broadband provider owned by Brightview plc. The deal is estimated to be worth £15.8m in cash, however, the acquisition has to be approved by Brightview’s shareholders.

Brightview had a humble beginning in April, 2001 as a small ISP renowned for its high-quality customer and technical support. Now Brightview’s customer base is estimated to be more than sixty thousand, and the revenue has crossed over £11.0m as of June 2006.

Apart from operating the popular brands like Madasafish and Global Internet, Brightview also owns the award-winning ISP, Waitrose. Brightview is also set to start its GreenBee which will provide both internet services and telephony service in UK.

I have been customer of BT broadband for the last two years. Their services and reliability have been quite outstanding.

I think, this deal will help the customers of Brightview to share BT broadband’s resources and technology expertise. I have been an admirer of Customer Support that is offered by BT, which I think is quite faultless.

The customers of both Madasafish and Global Internet would welcome this acquisition, in my opinion. As everyone knows, BT broadband packages will not make any difference as far as the customers of BrightView group concerned.

Strong customer support has been key word for both BT and Brightview. With the technical expertise of BT broadband, I think, BT broadband's new customers would not regret this deal. Hope their backing would be overwhelming.
