Why the fiber cable is better then the ordinary cable? which are the other services these cables provide with the basic internet service they are providing?
The fiber optics work on the principle of total internal reflection.So they have minimal data loss and great insulation and can carry the signals over longer distances more efficiently than cables can.
Ordinary cables consist of any metal but the fibre optic cables consist of glass or plastic threads.They can carry more data without much loss.Through fibre optic cable the data is transmitted digitally whereas it is done analogivally in metal cables.
The advantages of fibre cable is they enchance data security they are non conductive cables.They eliminate spark hazards, easy to install and high bandwitch over long distance.
