which.co.uk has just done a survey of peoples broadband speeds and it tested peoples connections who had the 'upto' 8mb ones.
The average was only 2.7mb! the highest was 6.7mb and the lowest was a shocking 0.09mb
The magazine said OFCOM should investigate the issue.
The test was done in 300 households and with 27 different broadband providers
