hazephase's steps to cheaper broad band
This is my steps to get cheaper broadband in the UK
Go for a combo : take a cheap deals with home phones broadband and also mobile and digital TV
The downside you can't compare prices
Take long contracts : if you go in for a 24 months contract you will get a free lattop but how long this will last I don't know
The speed best for you : What do you use the net for ? 2Mbps is good of email and surfing but you will need 8Mbps for gaming and downloading
Downlaoding LImits : Its better to take a unlimited cause with the limited the charges for the extra is high
SWitch is the key : if you are on the same service for some time you should look at other offer the prices keep droping
Let me know what you think
thanks

You can better name some ISPs who offer cheapest broadband in UK. I would like to know who provides cheapest 2Mb broadband. I really hate signing up for contracts longer than 12 months.

A lot of the providers now such as virgin dont require a 12 month contract unless you are getting a lot of free equipment , also your best making sure you don't go for the highest speed when all you donwload is the occasional song , the thing to remember the internet is only as fast as the slowest link.

I'd love the free laptop deal form Orange and would quite happily sigh a 2 year deal, but no way with the 2gb limit.

AOL no way, AOL users always seen to suffer more problems than other users. Plus the whole IP issue as well.

I'm looking to contact my ISP at the end of my contract and see if they offer a discount or anything for me to sign up for a second 12 months. Most mobile phone companies do, I think ISP's will go the same way, eventually.
