What Can I do if the Router won't obtain an IP address. There are some simple answers here.

1. Ensure that your modem is connected properly.
2. Unplug then plugging back in your modem this will reset it.
3. When using a dynamic IP addressing, make sure that your modem is DHCP-capable.
4. Some Internet Service Providers require that you use a registered MAC address. To set your MAC address automatically, use the Clone MAC button on the router's Toolbox page.
