BT reveals speed targets for its ADSL 2+ broadband
BT lab tests show that its WBC product that will offer ADSL 2+ high speed broadband service, will give less than 5 Mbps to the half of its customers while less than 10 percent of them may achieve speeds above 15 Mbps.
Considering the fact that speeds get deteriorated with the distance from the exchange, it is not possible for everyone on the line to get superfast speeds. This is what happens any broadband service that uses ADSL. However, BT says its proposed WiMAX broadband service can provide up to 8 Mbps, which far better than expected, according to the lab tests
